Photography 101

I haven't posted many pictures lately, I've been pretty busy. Going back to school full time takes up a lot of my free time, but it will all be worth it in the end. Right now I'm taking a photography class using 35mm black and white film. This picture was for a prospective assignment, looking at things from a different angle. I really like the bark on this tree so it became my subject of the moment.

I wish I had a color picture of this yarrow, it was a very unique blueish color. Again this was part of the prospective assignment, looking at this flower from a birds eye view.

These next few pictures are my new found love, photographing waterfalls. I love it so much that I now want to go on a waterfall hunt to photograph as many as I can. I took this one with the birds eye view in mind and I love how the streams of water look like glass.

I just love this! Love, love, love!!! We will be seeing a lot more of this if I have anything to say about it.

The same waterfall from the front. This was the motion assignment, the point of it was to get a picture of the water streaking like it is on the rock. I liked how the water spilling over looks clear and still, but where it hits the rock it has the streaked look. More of these too :)
